All is Well With Gardenia in Hand

Truth the be told, Lockdown 2021 is still not that pleasant. However, it is much more survivable since getting a loaf of Gardenia bread is trivial now.

During the first Lockdown, I wasn't able to buy this loaf of bread for months. Those who are lucky enough to buy it need to know when the truck arrives at a particular shop.

Now, you can easily open an app on the phone have it delivered at the door step. Which is really a relief since my kids are significantly bigger than last year and eat much more.

This humble loaf of bread was already a proper nostalgic food for many Malaysians and the pandemic just elevated it to the legendary status.
