Arabic vs Roman Alphabets
When Arabic alphabets form a word, they join together and transform shapes. Roman alphabets just group together and maintain their distinct shapes.
The whole is more than the sum of its parts are truer for Arabic alphabets as opposed to Roman ones. Arabic alphabets organically flow and become another creature when forming words. Roman alphabets are more akin to a mechanical train when doing the same.
It's interesting to note that Western societies that uses Roman alphabets are generally more individualistic as compared to Arab societies. Malay societies also became more individualistic after switching to Roman script.
