Conversing with My Past Selves
With journaling I can capture the fleeting thoughts. Most of it are mundane but some of it are flashes of brilliance. By going back to my journals I’m able to have conversation with past versions of myself. I also able to spot flawed thought processes so I don’t repeat the same mistake.
Most importantly, it reminds me of the long term goals I wanted to achieve. Something that’s easily lost when you are caught up with day to day work.
