The King & I

Back when Sultan Abdullah was still a Tengku Mahkota, he used to perform Friday prayer at Masjid Tengku Ampuan Afzan in Kuantan. At least once a month he'll be there and it will be a special ocassion for boys who came.

When the prayer is over he will be at the porch of the mosque with his entourage handing out money to boys. To complete the royal aura, he used to give out RM1 coins which is gold in color. He himself hands out the money.

I myself had received it several times so I could confidently says that he's the only king that ever gave me money.
