How to Spot an Old Marketer
Watch out for the words they use.
I've met several old school marketer in the past few years and it's the words they used that gave it away. How old? Older than my parents even! They are from a generation where marketing is pretty much just advertising.
- A&P = Advertising & Promotion
- MARCOM = MARketing COMmunication
If you heard any old geezers said this then they are the OG marketers born before Malayan independence. It was a small exclusive world back then which only big companies could afford to advertise.
